- 1. Your personal HSA contributions are deducted from payroll throughout the year, and Wellness Incentives are applied as they are earned. If you elect to contribute the full IRS maximum and later earn additional Wellness Incentives, your payroll contributions will not be refunded. Please plan accordingly to avoid exceeding the allowable limit.
